Cameron Cole- Patent Agent / Law Clerk Experience: Cameron is currently in his final semester at Santa Clara University School of Law. He has focused his legal education on the interplay between business and intellectual property law, taking classes such as patent litigation, patent prosecution, trade secrets, international IP, technology licensing, venture capital, antitrust and corporate governance. Cameron is also a registered Patent Agent, admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Cameron received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While at Davis he worked with Professor Michael Wright at the UC Davis Genome Center, researching the influence of androgen on diseased prostate cells. In 2006, he received a community service award for his volunteer work in Nicaragua and efforts in raising money for the UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Prior to law school, Cameron worked as a patent docket clerk at Morrison & Foerster, an international law firm with one of the most highly regarded patent practices in the field. There he gained valuable experience in domestic and international patent prosecution procedure. Cameron joined Colt Wallerstein as a summer associate in 2011. He now works part-time and supports the firm’s extensive practice in business and intellectual property litigation. Cameron lives in San Francisco
and enjoys golfing, Giants baseball and 49er football.
